The Tele Recap - all the goodness you missed all week

Sad News

This truly has been a sad weekend for entertainment with two major deaths this weekend.

  • King of Comedy, Bernie Mac, has passed away at the age of 50. Bursting on the scene as a no-nonsense, straight talking comedian who had a knack for turning the mundane into the hysterical. Mac went on to become an Emmy and Golden Globe nominee for his show The Bernie Mac Show and film star of such hits as the "Ocean's 11" series, "Transformers" and "Guess Who."
  • The legend that is Isaac Hayes also passed away this weekend at the age of 65. The first African-American to win a Best Original Song award at the Academy Awards, Hayes had a full career. A career consisting of music, film cameos such as the upcoming "Soul Men" which stars the late Mac and his role as Chef on South Park where he brought comedic wisdom to Cartmen and the gang.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to both of these legend's families.

  • Welcome contributors, Tele O and Tele Welly! I apologize now for what they may say later. Oops, our bad.

Maybe it is just me, but Katherine Heigl rubs me the wrong way. Check out this article about her. Didn't make me love her any more than I already don't.
