Project Runway Gets Dragalicious

ok did i mention i'm super excited for the Drag Queens!?!?!?! are you? well, HERE WE GO!!

Heidi introduces a special guest to introduce the next challenge.... it's Chris March.... dressed as a viking diva -- why am i not surprised? (ps-i met chris this spring at a fashion event and he couldn't have been sweeter!)

Challenge: create an outfit for a drag queen. (terri loves drag queens she says)

who are these ladies!? Farrah Moans, Miss Understood, Sweetie, Luisa Verde, Hedda Lettuce (ok hedda and i met while i was in Ptown last month... she totally had a crush on me and would stop me in the street every afternoon for the whole week.... mmm hmmmm what can i say, queens love me!), Sharon Needles (perhaps the greatest drag name i have EVER heard in my LIFE!), LeMay, Annida Greenkard, Sherry Vine, Acid Betty, Varla Jean Merman (varla jean was also in ptown doing a show this summer and she was HYSTERICAL)

ok each designer picks a DQ and they head up to the work room to get to know each other!! i'm SOO jealous!!

Tim comes and fleshes out the challenge -- they should pick a design that reflects the drag queen's style, they have $200, 2 days to complete the look and all garments will be auctioned off to benefit BCEFA!!!! awww, one of my favorite charities. i'm in LOVE with this episode already!!!

30 minutes with the ladies: Hedda is AMAZING!!!!! awww don't you love her? i shoulda made out with her in Ptown just so i could say i did... varla jean has removable bangs HOT... but i can already see the fear in these designers' eyes -- this is going to be a SHIT SHOW!!! who's excited!?!

at Mood: Kenley says her DQ looks like Marilyn Monroe ... ummm yeah ... kinda. but only kinda, doll... ;)

12 hours until end of day: Tanorexic would be "pinklicious" if he were a drag queen ... honey, you're a DQ every day of your life. oy. all the other designers are "annoyedicious" at him who can blame them!? overall, the designers seem confused. Suede's dead grandfather pays a visit to his imagination and inspires him to create small little lettuce heads on the dress. ummm, brilliant. Keith is doing fringe... again. not so fabulous.

Tim stops by: the DQs are coming in for a fitting!! HOW FUNNY to see these queens as MEN! well, scary and funny. OH MY GOSH Varla Jean is almost handsome as a man -- i'm a little turned on by him... yikes! Hedda knows exactly what she wants hahaha and Suede better listen... i've seen her show and she's an ARTIST!! he just needs to shut up and SEW!

Tim and Chris make the rounds together!!! Korto's dress is on fire, Tanorexic's dress "looks like a pterodactyl out of a gay Jurassic park", Joe's creating a pink masterpiece, Suede defends his fringe creation as best he can, Keith -- DISASTER, they hate it, Daniel's not worried about Tim's concerns.. why? because he has perfect taste, of course. bottom 2!

Day of Runway Show!!

all the designers are hurrying to finish and Tim sends in the "girls" -- Suede and Hedda have a heart to heart and kiss and make up.... see? hedda is a class act... i told ya. :) Leatherface thinks these women are not classy and wear crazy shit on stage... umm so do you beeotch so SHUT IT!

RUNWAY SHOW
oooh, who likes Heidi's gorgeous glam hair today? very very pretty!
RuPaul is the guest judge -- HOT!

Kenley -- GLAMOROUS!!!!!! and well made. nice!
Tanorexic -- ewwwww that looks so TACKY! fix those wings, girl
Joe -- HAHAHAH did you SEE HER ASS IN THOSE TIGHTS?? DELISH!

Leatherface -- ummm WHAT? plaid and black? ewww
Suede and Hedda -- HAHAHA she betta WORK that runway :) i love her!
Daniel --- ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz neon ruffles?
Terri -- wow... amazing asian inspired outfit
Jerell -- the popped collar "what a treat!" haha
Korto -- that big ol' girl better WORK! she was right... she's on fire fo' sho'!
Keith -- ZZZZZzzzzzzzz as well. yuck!
Leanne -- ummmm modern and crazy .. i didn't get it, but it was cool!

Highest and Lowest
Terri -- they loved it ... and MK wants to borrow the boots. would LOVE to see him hobble around like a hot mess in those!
Keith -- they HATE IT and so do i... it's a sad chicken, michael, you're right.
Joe -- Varla Jean!!!! she totally sold that garment :)
Jerell -- ooooh, they were really critical... OUCH!
Korto -- she has "really great legs" ... REALLY? does she!? hahaha
Daniel -- woah... did anyone see Anita's tummy hanging out?? yikes, daniel just has a bad attitude -- gotta learn to take critique, sweetie or they'll kick ya to the curb! haven't you watched the past seasons!?

ok and here we go...... who will it be!? Terri is in.... and the winner? congratulations.... Joe --- HOORAY FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY WINNING THE QUEER CHALLENGE!!! that's awesome :) and that means Korto is in as well. Jerell is in, too.

so it's between Keith and Daniel (i say SEND EM BOTH HOME).... Daniel is OUT ... sweet -- my gay mormon is here to fight another day!

see ya, daniel. the more we got to know ya, the more we ... well, didn't like your TASTE! PEACE :) at least we can all feel better to think that you and Wesley are shackin' up in some hotel somewhere while the rest of the season plays out.... hmmm i'm off to bed and maybe i'll dream about that a little... ;)
